As we approach the longest night of the year, join us for an afternoon of warmth and connection. This Winter Solstice gathering brings together ceremonial cacao, gentle ritual, and a soothing sound bath to honor what we’re ready to release and what we hope to welcome.
The solstice marks a turning point as the light begins its gradual return. It offers us a moment to reflect on our own seasons of change and consider what we want to nurture in the months ahead.
✨ Sharing Cacao
We’ll begin by sharing warm cacao prepared with sugar free coconut milk. Our handcrafted cacao comes from makers I know in Portland who work directly with Indigenous communities in Peru.
In our ceremony, we’ll approach cacao as an invitation to connect with the heart and listen inward. Together, we’ll honor the spirit of cacao and set intentions for this seasonal transition. You can bring something specific you’d like to reflect on or simply come open to the experience.
✨ Resting with Sound
Following our cacao ceremony, settle into a comfortable gravity chair for a sound bath with crystal singing bowls, shamanic drumming, gongs, chimes, and more. Get cozy under a blanket and let the sounds give your attention somewhere to rest as you take a little time away from the demands of the season.
No previous experience with cacao ceremonies or sound baths is needed. We’ll guide you through the afternoon.
✨ Create Your Own Yule Log
After the sound bath, spend some time at our Yule log crafting station, where you can make your own mini Yule log to bring home. All supplies are included, so you can enjoy creating a personal reminder of your intentions and the returning light.
